Third sister boss fight....

After the patch everything was good until I reached the third sister boss fight is anybody else having the same issue.? Frame rate drops to 20 fps and everything is slow it's not playable.

When you get to the top of the stairs in the room go to your left open the door as quick as you can throw a pipe bomb where the door is letting the cold in,stay away from her, shooting her all the time she should die pretty quick,good luck.

I just noticed today that this was still an issue. No other frame rate issues for me throughout the game, at least that I noticed.

It's a known issue. That's why CAPCOM is releasing another patch on August 10th.

Anyone know the cause of this? I'm not experiencing any issues with this fight, so it's not an universal problem.

Are you playing on an NVIDIA card? If so, is volumetric lighting on high?

Thanks that seemed to solve the issue weird because the other previous daughter fights didn't have this issue.

Turn Volumetric Quality down to medium. That room has a ton of snow fog blowing through the cracked wall and costs 20-40fps.

This room is the only room in the entire game that has a framerate drop for me (35-40fps), and the fix is to turn volumetric quality to medium, just for that room and back to high after the fight. Don't know if it's an Nvidia issue, sounds like it should be fixed with some driver or a game update.

I did a run through after the patch and the game actually ran smoother for me... I hope it gets fixed for everyone.
