Anyway the best you can do is not pre-order, wait until people upload gameplays and see how good it really is. We all know the pages like IGN sold they reviews, a good example of that is RE3R has 9.0 and Alien Isolation (A game from almost 6 years ago maybe 7) has 6.0 and fans give him Alien Isolation 9, is you want to play a good survival horror by this time go to Alien Isolation and leave RE cause rigth now all the RE games are Hollywood action. RE7 had lucky i doubt RE8 will be good too, capcom never make 2 good games in a row (maybe im wrong and this will be better) but until that do not trust on trailers, 40 minutes gameplays from a development team (Watch the stream of the development team from RE3R).
And if you just dont want to see a gamplay cause "You gonna spoil yourself the game) then play it on the most easy difficulty try to rush it and if the game is really good even on easy difficulty you are going to end it on more than 3 hours. If all the people who we buy RE3R we would have done that we could save a lot of money.
