Chris is already a forced character on the game. His DLC was so forced on RE7.
His DLC was the best part of RE7.
But that's just me, if they used Ethan for RE:Village I don't really feel like a sense of loss or care? I am just looking more forward to story-lore bits and how they'll build upon it.
I dunno how you can call someone a "fake fan" for liking the entire series. Sounds like those people are much bigger RE fans than you my man.
That's a pretty big assumption you're making.
Everytime Chris is used on a new game that means the game will go under Chris revenge obsesion (im surprise on RE REV wasnt like that) but rigth now RE is more like Fast&Furious formule.
Chris DLC was really out of place. "Oh look at me i had a bomb in my hand, im gonna put my hand on Liquid Nitrogen and then i will keep going with this DLC to reach Lucas and finally put an end to my vendetta story for now".
I would prefer see an "Chris report" instead play all that esteroid story.
I mean, his wife works for bad people. That in itself is pretty interesting.
