Hi. Does anyone know where in the game you find a bug?

I'm at the last part of the puzzle where you have to move gears and orbs around and I can't seem to move the orbs sometimes even if the paths are aligned? Has anyone else had this problem? Is this a bug?

I know where some of the areas are by finishing the bonus chapter, but in replaying the game I still cant access any of the souvenir locations. I click on the columns by the stairs in the reception area of the opening section, for example, and nothing happens. Same with the back wall in Cell 11. Any suggestions?...
