LOVE THIS GAME Because...

I have been playing, reviewing, even Dev-consulting games for decades. By now, most of the time I struggle to find anything fresh. The number of god-games where they say YOU run a village or kingdom (or merc band), but YOU are not actually in the game is staggering, and very monotonous (for me), IMHO. I have lost count of the number of medieval settlement builders - they really start to blend into each other. Bows, swords, axes, shields, peasants, and monsters. Chop, build, hunt, eat, grow, eat bett...

Early Access Review

I wanted to love this game.

I am so disappointed in how shallow it is. I do understand that it is EA BUT the updates are SO infrequent, I'm doubtful there is going to be any real building to what's here.

There is minimal/no tutorial, there isn't a lot to do, and like another reviewer mentioned most of it seems to be to get you past the 2 hr mark so you cannot refund it.

A lot of the controls are janky. The quests are often broken so they cannot be fulfilled. It's very much a grind with no real rewards.

I am HOPING that the developer comes and finishes this game. It has promise, but not enough to make it worth investing in right now.
