Controller Bug

I am using an Xbox360 controller with a cable.
It works flawless in other games.
But in this game here sometimes when i am surpose to move something it bugs out.
Like when you find a tin box under broken floor in a little cabin
you press and hold RT to grap the box
and then it says move R (Right Stick) to drag the box out from under the wooden floor boards i can grab the box but moving R does nothing.
I tryed switching to mouse and keyboard and i could drag the box out and open it.
Same problem was when on a wall there was a document i wanted to read and infront of it was a wooden beam so to read it my character needed to move it.
Said press and hold RT to grap the wooden beam then it says move R (Right Stick) to push the beam to the side moving R did nothing again. :(

I can see many people have control problems for both mouse and keyboard and controllers :(
Please look into it and try to fix it?
.Because when i dont run into these problems i am having ton of fun in this game :)

I am also having the exact same issue, and didn't know if I was doing something wrong or if there was a glitch in the game. It happens with my Xbox controller and works great on other games but on this one it wont let me access clues that are necessary to get the most out of the game

- Updated your PC's OS to the latest version

- Updated the Steam client to the latest version

- Updated your controller's device software / drivers on your PC to the latest version(s)

- Ensured that you have the latest version of Little Hope installed

- Disconnected other peripherals (e.g. mouse and keyboard) while playing, to rule out any input conflicts

- Performed file verification within Steam to ensure that there is no data corruption

none of those two had that controller problem Little Hope had.

Thank you for letting me know. This does sound unusual, and I haven't personally come across any input issues when testing Little Hope on PC myself with my own controller.

Do you happen to have a spare controller or, if the wire can be disconnected, an alternative wire to test with your existing controller? If all drivers and software are up-to-date, and the controller is being registered by your system correctly as a compatible input device, you shouldn't be experiencing any issues.

When testing, do also make sure to close any other programs or applications that could potentially be providing conflicting inputs or registering the inputs of the controller instead.

Can you please confirm the model of the controller you're using, as well as if you've completed the steps I previously listed above? Hi Guys!!! first time ever making a comment but im eager to play little hope and having the same issue with the controller input. a few months ago i was half way through and had no issues with turning pages, moving things to the side, ect. when the update happened i got back to playing but had trouble removing the flowers at the grave. i understand updates can alter or corrupt saves and i needed a refresher anyway so i hit new game. like last time i collected the very first collectable in the game (witchcraft book) but i cannot turn the pages. i used the same controller as last time and two other controllers, big picture mode, updated os and driver, altered controller input settings and reset default, verify integrity of game files and then uninstalled and re installed. still having issue. any advice or solution would be great. hope to be back to playing little hope soon

I'm sorry to hear that you've encountered this issue as well, ToastyMagee. Can you possibly take a look at the questions and suggestions I've made above (e.g. disabling background applications and other programs which could be causing conflicting inputs) and let me know if/when you've tried them all please?

Additionally, if you've adjusted the camera sensitivity at all, can you reset this to default and let me know if this makes a difference? Try with it set to a much higher value as well for testing purposes.

Hi all - I have had another similar report to this issue recently, and was wondering if, if this issue is still ongoing for you all, I could ask you all to test one more thing for me.

Per my last comment above, can you all let me know whether, in the in-game settings, you have your camera sensitivity set to the default value (23) or below? If so, can you please try raising this to a higher value when examining objects (50 or over would be ideal) and then see if you are able to turn the object properly?

This has worked for the other player I spoke to, and I would like to understand if it is the same issue here that you all were experiencing. I believe it could be as it was only when trying to turn or move objects that you have all described encountering issues, not when exploring Little Hope or grasping objects, so this sounds similar.

Hi there - to confirm, is the reticle red when you are trying to throw the dart?

You need to move your cursor to the correct area of the dart board to score the points John specifies before being able to throw the dart. If the reticle isn't red, you're not aiming at the right section of the board.

I'm having this same problem with the part where Andrew finds the gun, The red book won't turn the page when I hit the right analog stick and it won't let me take the case with the revolver out. Up until that point the right analog stick works just fine. How do I fix this?

If you have reduced the camera sensitivity, return this to default or set it to a higher value, and then try again.

If you turn the camera sensitivity too low, the camera may not pan enough to trigger the page turn or to look far enough down to pull out the box.
