The game won't start, I get an error message. I sent an email to tech support but in the meantime, if anyone had this problem before and solved it somehow, could you tell me what to do? I really wanted to play right now :(

Check your antivirus software. The file has likely been quarantined and labeled as a Trojan on your computer. Specifically, Win32/Zpevdo.B Trojan. I would not release it until we know from Steam or the devs that the executable is safe. A quick Google search will tell you what this trojan does. I cannot see why a game would want to modify Windows Firewall settings other than to allow it to run and nothing more:

Ok yes, I can see the trojan thing in windows security.
I found someone from a 2019 post who said they did this step "run window (⊞ Win + R), type 'netsh winsock reset' and restarted their computer and it worked after.

Does this has anything to do with the firewall, is it safe to do?

What that trojan does a game should not be doing at all. That trojan apparently modifies FW rules in Windows to allow for malicious downloads when you visit certain sites. I'd say we wait until we have solid confirmation that it's a safe file.

im still having an issue playing this game since yesterday. i have disabled the firewall, let it through the firewall even uninstalled steam and the game and reinstalled on a different drive still wont work. i hope they fix this soon
