As much as this is a funny and casual game, the overall meaning of the importance and hardships around saying "No" in a variety of situations is quite real.

If something is taking a toll on you, it is okay to say no.

I played this the same day I quit my job, and it may have been the most cathartic experience of my life.

This is one of those games where you think at first "oh, it's just one joke without much to say."

To that, I say this: Shut up and buy this game.

1. After the first hour, I could say "No" sarcastically, angrily, lazily, whacky, I could slow clap like a jerk, hmmm over someone's talking, laugh in people's faces--and more. It's fun how people react--even when I *don't* do anything.

2. The message in this game is real, sincere and hits you hard.

3. Just a fun charming romp, good vibes throughout--I laughed, I learned, I felt great!

4. Shut up and buy this game.

A fun game covering the importance of saying "No" and standing up for yourself and the issues of toxic people and toxic work environments, and the ways that can affect our mental health. Take care of yourself. It's okay to set boundaries and stand up for yourself.

Ultimately, Say No! More is a funny, one time experience. If it goes for a price you think is reasonable for an hour and a half or so, pick it up and don't say No! to this game.

Say No! More is a short, joke game that tells the ironic truth of the workplace world: how it's hard to say no and how you need to learn to say that sacred word. It's a story-focused game with minimalistic gameplay where you just need to spam a button to progress.

Say No! More uses a combination of pixelated visuals and simplistic 3D models. The models are less blocky than voxels, although the textures, particularly on facial expressions and clothing, are using pixelated art. However, it looks blurry and sometimes it's hard to see the expression behind the face, especially when characters are opening their eyes; you hardly can differentiate when they are shocked or angry.

The story looks relatable if you have entered the workplace. You are an intern in a company and you need to do whatever your supervisor says. It also tries to exaggerate it by giving a bunch of nonsense orders, giving you more excuses to say no (but you can't). The story might seem foolish at first due to all of the exaggeration, but it ended up giving a nice moral message. I didn't like how it suddenly got sentimental at the end though, but I still liked the ending.

Gameplay
The gameplay is divided into two parts. You'll have to watch the story in the first part and say no to everyone in the second part. The story part is straightforward; you just need to wait for the dialogue to unfold and watch it like a movie. I don't like how you can't fast-forward the dialogues, though. It can take a while to get to the scene that you wanted that way if you replay the game for the missable achievements.

The majority of the fun comes from the second part. People will come to you (because you're an intern who has free time and all) and ask you to do a lot of nonsensical stuff. You are given the option to say no by pressing the Space button or wait until the timer runs out (if there's any) to accept their request. Most requests are just selfish, others are not. The ones who are not are usually given a different color to differentiate and this will lead to a different, short scene if you accept their request.

What's fun about the saying no part is how exaggerated it was. A simple no can just make them fall to the ground while charging it will blast people to the wall. There are also different variations that you can do, from laughing to even nodding before saying no to give more impact. I find the variation to be useless, but at least it makes the gameplay not too repetitive.

I found the switch between the story and the saying no portion to be perfect. I never got bored playing it since the story is ridiculous and funny, and it's just fun mashing the button to say no. Moreover, the game doesn't overstay its welcome either. There is only so much that you can do to prolong this, and the dev knows that. The game ends right just at the perfect time, giving a nice moral message before it closes its absurdness.

Length and Difficulty
I finished the game in 2.1h. I then left the game open to idle for 2 achievements, which took me ~6.7h to get. The game isn't hard at all since you just need to mash the Space button to say no, and although there are some missable achievements, the game has a chapter selection for you to go back to.

I know there are a lot of books that tell you how to say no, but I'm quite surprised that the game manage to convey such a message in a ridiculous way. It's not about saying "say no more" (aka yes I understand), but about getting used to saying no to people. It's relatable, and the way the game exaggerates it provides nice entertainment to me. I can recommend it if you relate to these experiences about being a yes man, but due to its short length, make sure to buy it on a sale.
