Assembly mode camera is insane
The assembly mode camera has a number of odd behaviours:
- it seems to give me the worst possible default angle about half the time
- it doesn't feel like I'm controlling where it goes when I do move it
- it swings oddly fast horizontally, while it swings relatively slowly vertically

I'm not sure how many of these are to do with me using a 5120×1440 display to play the game. It feels like the game might be assuming that I want the camera to move horizontally faster because I have a wider display, but I just want it to work well enough to assemble this f__king desk in under 8:30.

I'm on a 1080p display, same thing for the camera controls. The assembly itself has several problems, mostly to do with the camera being unreliably touchy, or the hammer moving completely different if held horizontally instead of vertically (the bottom two screws of the shower). I figured out the hammer's movement for the shower afterwards, but it was so jarring a change I felt frustrated rather than appreciating the novelty of the idea. It simply was not "fun" to fight with the controls when racing a time limit.

Same here. I gave up trying to assamble the TV Stand. The camera is totally out of controll there. Compared to that the horrible hammer movement in the shower level was nice and easy. It's just impossible to put the dowels into the long board

Mine absolutely refuses to go very far to the left in specific, often making it take a very long time of dragging and dragging the mouse to eventually be able to reach something when the camera doesn't start in the right spot.

I have the same thing as mentioned above. Because of this, I cannot finish any of them besides the first 1-2 with 3 stars. I also cannot finish the clock one with 3 stars because the clock arms move so slowly and are always in random places, and it just never makes it on time for the 3rd star.

Yes, it`s absolute garbage the way it keeps jumping around at the slightest move.
Also the hold down Ctrl is inherently stupid choice, should have been simply hold down right mouse button to move the view.
There is no chance on finishing any assemblies on time because of that.

The TV stand is particularly bad, here's a screenshot where the camera puts me in a position where it's literally impossible to add the screw I'm supposed to add. By the way, I can't even move the camera from this position. Not even slightly.

Oh yes, the hammer movement in the shower assembly was insane as well. They obviously expect you to rotate your mouse to the left to match the orientation of the hammer, but I think that's stupid, and they should _tell_ you you have to do it, instead of expecting you to figure that out.

same here, starts in a weird position most of the time. when moving using ctrl it's opposite movements? also it's jittery when moving. Definitely cannot move fast enough to make "complete by" time

Assembly mode camera absolutely needs a lot of work. Just wait until you try the TV cabinet! The camera decides to go the opposite way you want it to go and becomes even more jerky, sometimes unresponsive, and always obnoxious. And then there is the hammer in that mode.... Right, so, my two cents added.

Timed challenges do not belong in this game even if the camera issues get fixed, but the combination of issues absolutely have killed my enjoyment of this game.
