No toggle to turn day/night cycle on/off?

Jobs have set time, but the houses You can buy have full day/night cycle ;)

I noticed the nighttime setting in when I was between jobs, so how does that work? I haven't found an option to turn the nighttime off.

Day Night Cycle is available from bought or self made houses. It's disabled in jobs ;)

Like I said, I noticed the nighttime when I was NOT on a job, but between jobs. So why can I not turn nighttime off while I'm working on my own house?

Some of the most requested features in the Feature Request board are the ability to turn off the day/night cycle and the ability to sleep in beds to skip the night. The number of votes is almost equal, but well over 100 for each. So not implemented yet, but will be sometime soon.

IMHO, the toggle in gameplay options is more likely than the sleeping in beds, because it's simpler.

He didn't. He said the Cycle is available, not the on/off switch.

apparently not, i'm doing the job for the yoga lady and it turned night

When working on a house from scratch, it won’t turn night. I know it’s weird to want it, but like the sims, I wanna see how certain rooms will look at night. And how many ceiling lights/lamps I need in a room. I hope the day/night option gets added. It’s hard to gauge when it’s day all the time.

When the opportunity to do "Jobs" is over, ceased. finished the only other option is to buy a house or build a house. Perhaps that's why people want it switched off. Telling us something is "Available" usually signifies that the option can be made "Unavailable" which it isn't Basically players who can no longer do "Jobs" because they've done them all, have no choice but to tolerate day and night cycles.

When you've bought a house, and take your time working on it, it is very annoying when nighttime sets in. This is especially true when working on the outside of the house, although the inside is obviously affected also. It's not fun if you're going around the house contemplating what materials and colors to use, and nighttime comes while you're doing that, so you can hardly see the house anymore. At that moment you're forced out of what you were doing. And if you are like me, then you like to take your time with every step, enjoying every second of working on every square inch of the house.

I wouldn't mind a toggle to manually switch between daytime and nighttime, so you can look at what your house looks like with lights in place. That would even be quite nice.

However, to have an option in the settings so we can turn the day/night cycle off if we want to - just like we had in HF1 - would immediately improve the gaming experience by at least 300% for me.

Well, actually.... You can redo email jobs just like in the first game. Yes, you are doing it for a second time, but you can still do it if you choose.

Go to your office. Press Tab in-game and click Emails at the top. Select your Zone (Crayfish Coast, etc.) and then the email job you wish to redo.

The main problem I have with day/night is that you can’t tell the true colors of anything at all. For example, you can’t tell if the blue paint you selected is the right shade to match the sofa you place during the day. So you have to wait for daylight before you can paint that room. I wish they had the ability to shut it off. Also, some of the plants in this game are absolutely horrible! Not everybody likes perfectly round bushes. Some want them to look more natural. Just saying.
