I don't care if it's workshop, or mod.io
But we seriously need more STUFF. The great thing about mods is that people who have more niche/specific tastes could find that stuff. Lots of people are asking for items, and lets face it, there's just too many types if items/clutter/hobbies for the devs to realistically implement. I get that the devs want to use mod.io so that console users can have access, which I know was a point of contention in HF1. So if y'all don't want to use steam workshop, fine. But then make mod.io work in a way that allows users to create items, please. I want more nerdy stuff from books and video games to decorate my house, and more guns and ammo creates for my doomsday bunker!

You should check out their Q&A from a couple of weeks back. They actually address that point-blank. :)

I was not aware that they addressed this, so thank you! I'm glad that they plan on making mod.io work more like the workshop in terms of items and such. They also said something about making all the items and furniture themselves, and not using packs. That makes so much more sense as to why selection is limited.

Yes it does! Since I do not care for YouTube and its ad blocker policies, I did not know about this Q&A until a few days ago, myself. :)

Yes, more stuff would indeed be awesome, but not if modders have to add several of the same object in different colors and patterns and such to offer some variety.

The modders should be able to integrate their objects completely and seamlessly with the materials/patterns/colors system that is implemented in the game, i.e. they have to upload only one item to workshop/mod.io, instead of several.

Also it would be excellent if modded items could be interacted with. Windows, doors, fridges, cabinets that can open and close, same for curtains and blinds. Lights, candles, fireplaces that can be lit, etc.

For me I just want more jobs. Period. I love being able to complete objectives set by a client and watching the percentage done tick up the more I do. It's super satisfying and doesn't make me feel like I'm sitting around doing nothing since I am not a huge fan of the flipping part of the game where you have no objectives and basically each house can be designed however you want it to be. I'm not creative for that so having someone tell me what they want is definently my cup of tea. Hopefully we get more jobs in Mod.io as so far there isn't a whole lot that aren't bugged out or not even jobs at all just house flipping houses clickbaited into jobs
