So, in the community center renovation...what's with the phone in the box?

Found a shovel in a hole, with dirt piled up next to it, sort of in the shape of a buried body...and a phone in a box in the hole....you can pick it up...but that's it...can't sell it. A murder mystery??? lol

I noticed that too. Probably an easter egg to the devs not taking any advice on what should be added to the game.

Of course they are taking advice, the last patch was about things people directly asked for with a option of toggling to do certain tasks like painting and setting up a roadmap of what to add, people just seems to forget that HF2 is built from scratch and has to start from square 1 all over again.

Could be, I certainly tried to interact with the phone myself, maybe there's a connection to it somewhere or to something further down the line.

My only thought is if there is some iconic piece of media, a TV show or film, in which a character buries a burner phone under their house like how Walter White kept his in the upper tank of a toilet.

Glad I didn't miss something. When I jumped into the hole I couldn't get out of it so be careful if you have unsaved changes, logging out was the only way I could do anything after I fell into the hole.

The mechanic doesn't exist, it's just a unfair, harsh jab at Frozen District that they had to rebuild a new game from the ground up and that version 1.0 doesn't have as much content as a game which has received years of free/DLC content.
