Is there any mod that does this?
So I bought this game I think about 2 or 3 months ago. I played it and I like the gamplay, graphics, idea, etc. The only thing that annoyed me was BTs. I really don't want to go into why they are annoying for me, I just want to enjoy the gameplay and environment while playing it.
Anyways, I searched through nexus and there wasn't any mod that could disable BTs. Of course some of them are scripted and should stay in the game, but I just don't want to bother with them. The mules are ok and I can deal with them, they are not that annoying.
And I have to mention, I searched the discussions as well. There was a post where things got messy kinda. I know that BTs are the point of the game, and I know I can avoid them and all the points people made in that post and anywhere else. I'm just saying that I think personally, I can enjoy this game more if I didn't have to deal with the BTs.
Thanks in advance :)

I believe you can get what you are looking for with a trainer.
https://www.wemod.com/cheats/death-stranding-trainers Turn on Undetected and the BT's will no longer see you.

Here is another (Thou I believe this one is not free)
https://www.cheathappens.com/72593-PC-Death-Stranding-trainer

You might also have luck searching google for Death Stranding and Game Copy World.....
I cant link to that site in here as they also host cracks for games, WARNING the files on GCW may not be 100% safe use at own risk.

Always a good idea to Virus scan any files at VirusTotal https://www.virustotal.com/

WARNING using trainers on games that have cheat protection can result in a game or VAC ban.
Also just as a cheat or mod can enhance game play and add more fun or enjoyment
cheating can often ruin a game making it easy and no longer fun to play.

Just keep playing, eventually you will get to the point of easily massacre the whole BT field
Beside BT existence is very important for both lore and gameplay wise, human enemies only have minor roles here

Thanks mate, that's really reassuring. They are kinda annoying just because dealing with them is scripted and if they catch you, they just catch you and you know the deal.
Thanks again, it is good to know that they would eventually be less annoying :)

Even if you get caught, you can still run away. The minibosses have a limited radius.

Yeah, I did that every time XD
They are not really that dangerous (at least in the early game), they just annoy me.

As you keep playing, you will be able to unlock blood grenades, a Bola Gun that will immobilize BTs, and an Anti-BT gun

I think I've unlocked blood grenades. But I'm not really sure if I have tested it on them or not. I know I have defeated the first boss with some grenades.
Removing BTs, or even immobilizing them for a long time seems good. So yeah, thanks. I have to keep playing and it'll eventually gets better :)
I just have other games to finish before death stranding, but I got my answer. There is no need for that mod.
Thanks again :)

Later in the game you can build zip lines which allow you to zoom through BT areas with impunity. The chord cutter also helps.

I can understand why you don’t want to encounter them at all if you just want a stress-free experience. There is no modding for this game however.

Mentioned this in another post, but once you unlock the weather talisman, equip it onto your backpack. It reduces the amount of timefall experienced and even the regular BT zones are often free of timefall and BT's when this is equipped.

So it turns out that there is so much you can do to avoid BTs, that I didn't know XD.
The nexus mods are all graphical things if I remember correctly. But I think there will be gameplay mods, if the modding community wants it enough. Though they may do something that seems illegal to sony, I don't know.

I'll do that certainly. But it's interesting why that thing would decrease BT spawn. Is it a lore-related thing that I don't know yet or didn't pay enough attention to?

BTs come out in the rain. You'll notice that you only see them it's raining. Therefore no rain = no BT

Cool. I think there is some lore that I forgot. Thanks for the mention, kinda makes sense like the rest of the game XD.

They also show up when (very minor map spoiler) it's snowing but the game more or less explains that when you encounter that situation anyway.

I didn't know that may happen. Still, it was not a major spoiler as you said. Seems interesting. I bought this game with high hopes and then the annoyances made me regret buying it. I was forcing myself to give it another shot, and I think based based on the things you and others said here, it'll totally worth it to try it again, and play it until it gets better and better. Thanks :)
