EDIT: Found the video showcasing it.
Just don't fall over.
I've seen postboxes all over the place, but I never understood their purpose. The rain never stops in that particular zone unless you kill the whale. Does the postbox restore the health of your packages, or how do they work?
Thank you
will definitely look into this but at the moment I have repair spray and hematic grenades only. I have absolutely no problem building paths. I think it's quite fun. (maybe i'm weird)
I have done this, but it's such a pain in the arse, and they still catch me.
Do you know if their "tails" will cause aggro. Like you have their body, but then there is a tail of sorts that comes off of them. Can you touch that, or will they attack you if you touch their tail?
I've honestly been too scared to test because I don't want to die. :(
I thought you had to throw the grenades at the BT's. What is it some kind of proximity effect? Dude didn't even come close to hitting a BT with that grenade.
Also, you can drag cargo? how the hell do you drag cargo!? did I miss an in game tip/explanation?
You probably haven't reached the point to unlock that. It is called a floating carrier.
Unlock Ziplines is at 2nd map, follow the story progress until you meet a female character name Mama :)
No, BT only detect by sound (walking, breathing, etc...)
It call "Floating Carrier" , also at 2nd map "weather station", follow the game delivery orders to unlock it :)
Walk slowly, as you walk the BTs will shift around, to get past one that is in your way hold your breath. I realized the BTs disappear temporarily when you hold your breath, use this small window to get past where they were/are.
If one triggers and grabs you hold down both mouse buttons to stabilize yourself and mash v, slowly work your way to the edge of the black pool. Then urinate on those MFers to make them disappear and grab whatever fell off you.
If you want to be boss as hell have your D out and ready to go, once you break free of the BTs pulling just let it rip and that will destroy the black pool, even if you are standing in it being attacked.
If you get pulled to a massive BT just run away using whatever platforms it summons, once you are clear of it the encounter will end.
Options 1:
Let them catch me, outrun the boss.
Option 2:
Let them gather around me, throw the anti-bt nade under my feet. Walk like a boss.
Option 3:
Ride through with any vehicle at regular speed while monitoring my sensor. Takes about 10 seconds to get through.
Option 4:
Fight the boss everytime for juicy juicy crystals *tongue sounds*
Sam's urine repels BTs, either you pee on them directly through his zipper or from EX. Grenade 1s that are pretty much his pee stored in vials, the latter clearly is the better alternative as it's fast, has range and you can stay on the move. It pays to actually read the descriptions, test and experiment the EX. Grenade types, as well the other equipment offered in the game.
