Order 8: Resycle crystals at distribution center west of Capital Knot City.

So I collected the Chiral Crystals, I have returned to the centre to recycle them. But there is constantly 9999 there, which stops me from being able to complete the quest saying there are too many Crystals. No matter how many I take out the number is always at 9999.

Anyone else come across this? Tried different saves and have the same problem. I am unable to continue with the story because of this.

The only thing that would cause there to permanently be 9999 crystals at the distro center is cheats.

Turn them off.

I was going to suggest he may be in the wrong delivery location.
Then noticed the 9999 ...

How embarrassing.

You can fix it by progressing until you get a blueprint for something that takes chiral crystals, turning off the resources cheat, building that item, then taking out some crystals and putting them back.

Or maybe turning off then progressing the star level so it holds more? I dunno, I forget. It’s one of those.

It’s absolutely pointless to do so in a single player game. Pointing out that it is what is causing the issue is one thing, but don’t act like that, it just makes you look bad. People have fun in different ways. Not sure why you are still wasting your time responding to something that upsets you so much.

I am not using any resource cheats, and yet I get the same issue, does not say there is 9999, just the recycle crystals option is greyed out. I can turn them in anywhere else, just not here to progress the story. No clue what to do here so I am stumped.
