I recorded a footage for a much older thread for the trick. Another important note is that you can only change colours for the vehicles that you own, except for the Half-Life Truck and the Cyberpunk Trike since you can't change those and of the vehicles owned by others.
Except it is a glitch...by definition. I suggest you read up on what that means before you start pushing your judgement.
Nah. You almost never need to worry about condition of vehicles. Neither Timefall nor Snow-Timefall can reduce vehicles below 9%. They will just stay at 9% forever. Trikes, Mule Trucks, Bridges Trucks they all stop deteriorating after reaching 9%. They still can be destroyed if you crash them in a way that does damage or get shot at by terrorists, but weather never destroys vehicles. The only time I care about condition of my truck is when I make high-speed entry into terrorist town to grab cargo they stole. Doing that with beaten up truck is unadvisable, let's call it.
A feature that they didn't intend to work that way - otherwise what's the point in storing your truck and pulling it back out again?
Tomato Tomoto - don't really matter much.
I spend way too much time in IT listening to people claim "its a feature" when it really isn't.
Or vehicle durability and battery shouldn't be allowed to be restored, only allowed to change is the vehicle colour.
Or nothing...its not that big of a deal.
Who knows - they may change it on remastering the game. Or nothing.
Its a thing....there are bigger fish to fry as they say.
Players have found a way to skip those steps and is simply a convenience and doesn't take the experience away whatsoever.
