I had ghost inputs too and read someone's post about only turning the controller on once you're on the title screen. It did the trick for me.

Hope it'll help you too until they fix that weird bug for good.

Glad to hear it. I had a weird time at first because I thought it was only happening when raining... being a Kojima game, you get the picture. :winter2019joyfultearsdog:

no, my guy randomly packs his bola gun away. something is wrong with L2/R2 inputs. Well, sale is sale, is not it? That's why we do not buy games full price anymore, aye?

it's a problem with 3rd party controller software like DS4windows and non-ps4 controllers.

If you link up directly through Steam with a DualShock 4 controller, you'll have no issues.

Dood I have an official XBOX controller that's supported natively by Windows and most games.

I noticed too, it started happening a couple of weeks ago, when I'm riding on a reverse trike its like someone pressed the the B button and I stop and get off, one time I was riding in a MULE truck and just jumped out and rolled on the highway and I didn't press any buttons. Maybe its Kojima messing with us. Sam does say "I wonder if somebody is watching" sometimes.

Why would anyone want an inferior controller? Xbox One Controller uses the Xinput API, which make it plug-n-play with 99% of the games.

While with DS4 you mostly relying on Steam to emulate the Xinput API.

The issue can be fixed by enabling the controller when you're at the start menu, like already stated.
