do all players connect from Epic and Steam?

Just wondering, I rather buy it on steam, but its cheaper on Epic, my main thing is. The online aspect, will it be the same? or lacking on what is am sure, a less popular storefront ?

I just got this from gamebillet for $23. It's 60% off instead of steams 50% and you get a steam key. I'm sure they are the same, but steam is a better store front.

The online portion is not a big deal, there is no direct interaction with other players. It is mainly structures they build may appear in your game.

Not sure if all pc platforms are connected, but they have stated that they are using separate servers for pc vs the ps4 version.

The cargo from other players appear and you can deliver it for them. It’s not really a multiplayer game though it has some elements.

so its perfectly ok to play single player as well? I thought I read that multiplayer was important

Because the structures other players build can be the difference between falling in a river and crossing a bridge.

Will you always see the structures what I'm worried about is the game may not be as active as before and the online ends up being pointless anyway

while I dont mind buying from epic (tho I much rather steam) I was worried about there being less online activity

Online is not connected between Epic and Steam, and expect Steam to have a way larger player base.

Please to not let others fool you, online helps you a lot in game, as you have access to other players structures, lost cargo, resources and even vehicles.

Meaning the game is way harder in Offline Mode.

Gamebillet is not shady and does not use stolen keys. As I said I used It a few times and had no issues. It's an official reseller, or steam would block the name. For $7 more I'd rather have it on steam so I get it's features.
