In-game music copyright claim in uploaded gameplay video
Recently, I uploaded my Death Stranding gameplay video and it contain "Don't Be So Serious" by Low Roar audio so my video was partially muted. Is this happening to everyone?

yes to everyone, even on twitch. Doesn't matter you upload it for view or for fun, there will be copyright claim if there is any low roar in your video. even pop virus also had copyright claim.

Copyright laws are funny. You would think they would want their music heard more in hopes of people listening to it and perhaps buying a clean copy of it.

yet nobody care. theres plenty of reupload already.

kojima should sell separate low roar album together with this game if he really want to support them, like ludvig soundtrack pack.

More importantly we need Kojipro and 505 games to make a toggle for copyrighted music in the menu so people can safely play/post without getting attacked by aggressive licence holders and algorithms. Cant make media for this game even though I love it because it'll get me banned from all the media platforms. Its a real shame. Almost feels like a photography only affair because of the risk of getting banned from youtube or twitch for slipping up.

That's sad though I really enjoy the game and the tracks.

And in some places the laws are so draconian that if you don't claim it all the time, you lose copyright.

I'm sure from the artists perspective it's a battle between the revenue going towards the game developers rather than the musicians themselves. IDK just thinking out loud.
