textures are disappearing for no reason.
What i mean by disappearing i mean gone, like the buildings was never there.

This happens after 1 - 2 hours during 1 gaming session.
The game works fine for some time but after a long gaming session textures start disappearing, buildings, rivers, roads and surrounding rocks just vanish? Every thing is still their but invisible.

This has happened 5 times now with no reason or explanation, the only way to fix it is by closing the game and reloading it, then everything loads like normal.

The game is installed on a SSD so no streaming issues from that, i have reinstalled the game once, verified installation twice, still same problem.

I have screen shots of all these problems.

This is defo an issue after playing for like 5h straight, easy fix is to save and restart the game, devs need to acknowledge this issue/post!

A quick steam discussion search got me here after running into this multiple times.

Use the forum search tool... There's an NVIDIA hotfix for this.

That hotfix does not solve the issue, I'm running it right now and still encounter this problem

This problem is such a immersion breaker. This bug isn't so hard to find but no one acknowledges it.

This is the only fix i found when playing the game, this bug happens ever 2 hours for me it such a stupid fix really.

I had the same problem yesterday after a 3 hour game session, I think it's a memory leak problem. I have had the same problem with some games in the past, the game constantly increases its memory requirement to display textures correctly, normally in some scenes the memory should be released, like when we go to sleep in a shelter, but it doesn't do it, it constantly increases its memory requirements so after a certain playing time depending on your configuration, the textures are no longer displayed due to lack of memory.

My vRam doesn't go past 5GB, i have a 8GB card.
My Ram doesn't go past 11gb?
I downloaded a HotFix from Nvidia so we will know later on today?

Edit: And of course what I said previously is only a hypothesis but it strongly resembles the problems I had with some games in the past who had memory leaks

I have been experiencing this also. I save the game about every 15 minutes. Then when the graphics glitch begins and the textures start vanishing, I just save and re-start the game (on PC) and that seems to let you limp along (until it's identified and fixed.)

Update: the HotFix only let me play for 5 hours then the textures start vanishing. This is an improvement by 3 hours so i'm not complaining.

It use to be 2 hours until i installed the HotFix which did nothing really.

A month gone. Still no fix for this. Before getting the idea to restart the game, I tried reloading from a previous save instead.
When it loaded back, the thing I was looking at (happened to be a terminal) loaded correctly. But then as I made a delivery, I saw Sam was missing his face! The glasses he had put on were still on though.
And as I turned Mr Hollow Man around - and this was at the Wind Farm - I noticed the forest ahead had disappeared. The game just made different textures disappear. Hilarious!:steamfacepalm:

Thats what it looks like for me after a few hours of playing. Closer to 5 hours. I have pictures of the missing buildings above, but no videos. Didn't plan on posting anything. Could it be a heat problem. For me, my laptop gets very hot after a while, and I need a cooling pad for it.
