Half life mission first part PROBLEM!
I already finished the game and in the progress completing my last achievement of finding all the chips, and I just realized that there are half-life items. I got both email for the first part of the half life mission like a week ago, but I cannot find the companion cube anywhere in the east area map now.
I really need help!!!! Did I just miss all the half life item for not doing the mission on time???

I think the problem is that you haven't found the Rocket Gnome yet. Rocket Gnome solves all problems once discovered.

Isn't the Companion Cube more of a Portal item than it is a Half-Life item though?? But mentioning of Half-Life items; I wouldn't be surprised if the Rocket Gnome is in the game. Far more iconic than Companion Cube.

Still deciding on the game myself, so I can't help too much. Here's what I found about it though: This companion cube is located northwest of the Distribution Center South of Lake Knot City. You'll find the cube deep inside a MULE camp, at the backend inside one of their tent areas. Return the cube to the Distribution Center South of Lake Knot City and you'll receive the Gravity Gloves as a reward.

The first mission is not for gloves, it's for glasses and it's in eastern region.

Anyway OP - same boat here, I've learned about this quest line yesterday, I have emails - but lost cargo is not present. I also think this blocks further progression of quest line - as I did deliveries that should trigger following emails, but I didn't get those emails.

So, looks like I am not the only one who encountered the problem, I did not do it instantly, so according to the specific item property of the game, it most likely was lost and not appearing anymore, so people are waiting for future patches to fix the problem. BTW Thanks for quoting that, though it is not even the first lost cargo location LOL.

Yeah, I also saw posts said they are even encountering the same issue for later items

I found it by accident, as in I wasn't actually looking for it at the time.

I'd left the Distribution Center and was driving North East along the East side of the river, heading for the MULE camp.

I was scanning regularly, looking for lost items etc. and the cube just showed up, close to the East river bank, as if it had washed up on the shore. This was about half way between the Distribution Center and Ludens Fan. I've no idea if the location is random or not.

I have heard other people had issues with people building things like bridges in the way, so the cube was underneath and didn't show in scans. So if there are any bridges or anything else on that section of the river, might be worth dismantling them.

Many players have been dealing with this issue, what i've noticed is if you go past chapter 2 it's almost impossible to get it

The first leg of this quest takes you alongside the banks of a river. Do regular scans to have it show up. When I first did it, I accidentally ran it over with my bike and had to reload my game. :steamhappy:

Do you finished the game when you found it?

New patch coming out today!
All problems associate with the half-life/portal(?) mission are perfectly solved.
Already got all rewards for those six missions.
Besides, a problem which players not getting new unfinished standard deliveries are also fixed.
Already got all 500 LLLs.

Is there any fix for this? I'm in the same situation, i've already gotten the glasses, and the valve, as well as the email for the gravity gloves, but the companion cube is not in the MULE camp. I've watched all the videos and screen shots so i know exactly where it's supposed to be, but it won't spawn for me.

I've completed the game already, but i am going back and trying to finish getting all the stuff i missed.

If you dont complete the first delivery before leaving Eastern Region the first time, you never will. It has never been clear if this is a glitch or intended.
