Mute BB
I can't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stand this ♥♥♥♥ anymore. Every time this piece of ♥♥♥♥ starts crying I want to kill myself. Is there a way to silence it completely through configs or whatever?

wtf are you doing that BB is crying that much? It only cries when you cause it to.

Also never have kids.

Doubtful that there's a way to silence it. For a game that boasts about its audio, it has the least audio options I've seen in a game since the early 90s.

The thing cries for lots of reasons. It will even cry if when you have to cross a stream where the water doesn't even rise above your waist. It's an interesting concept that was implemented horribly.

You can set BB's voice to a different device/output in the options. I guess try setting it to something you don't use or are able to mute?

The only option for this is speakers, even though I have headphones connected aswell as speakers

I can count on one hand the amount of times BB has cried. If your BB is crying so much it annoys you, either you're doing something terribly wrong or annoy super easily.

This sounds like that other tread where some guy refunded the game because the music sections have credits that show on the screen.

Well, good for you. I don't want the game telling me exactly how to play. If I can jump from 5m height without dying to cut the distance to my objective - I will do that, but then BB starts crying. It's like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Kojima himself comes to my house and beats my head with a stick for not playing his game correctly. ♥♥♥♥ that.
The game is good though.

You might want to sit for this, it's gonna blow your mind....

Some people don't like things that you have no problem with.

+1

If BB can't stop crying and frustrates the player, I say refund the game and leave us others alone.

I'm not a fan of BB either, but I'm more frustrated by BTs than its crying. Sure, it cries when you're passing through a river deep enough to reach BB or during a BT encounter or when you're constantly rolling of a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cliff. God I hate it when it cries during a BT encounter, it makes me more frustrated, but I cannot help that. I need the BB to pass through BTs. Other times I just play with it to calm it down, not happening with BTs around tho. Its your partner in crime that can do one thing the best and suck at every other. If you hate BB that much, just wait in a deep water for a couple of minutes. Doing so should rise BBs stress levels and make it pass-out. You won't have eyes during BT encounters mind you. :seriousboss:

Well Steam's forum unlike every other existing in the world has no ignore option.
It's not that I care or not, it's I can't put anyone on the ignorelist thatnks to Valve's lazyness.

You can, you just have to block the person.
