backpack cover not unlocked?
I'm level 4 with the collector but I haven't gotten it yet? do i need to be further in the story or did they change something i'm not aware of?

Oh it's the collector who gives it? I maxed out everyone else on this side of the mountain besides him. lol

Yes but i can't seem to get the backpackcover which unlocks at connection level 2 and i'm around 4

He could be a little weird. You have to his very specific missions I think, not just up his stars with random cargo/easier orders. And if you did all that before meeting the Junk Dealer it might glitch and you'll have to wait until those specific Collector missions pop again as repeats, over time.

There's a few porters around that are super nitpicky in that type of fashion, that I recall.

Got him to 2 stars and it did indeed unlock backpack cover, I guess yours is bugged?

How far are you on main story? Perhaps it's tied and you can only get certain things that way?

So what you need to do is do a order for sam from the junk dealer after their story mission concludes i think its order number 35 after that backpack custimaztion is avavible to you

I realize this is a hell of a necro, but is anyone else having an issue with the backpack cover just not showing up in the customize menu, despite having unlocked it? Because I'm having that. All that crud for this stupid collector and I don't even get the thing I supposedly got.

The Collector quest is BUGGED.
When I reached 4 stars said, here is something data for blah blah pop up, then when I click fabricate, there was nothing.
Now, I maxed out to 5 stars and it's doing that, that gives you generic "copy and paste" missions.
The game is great but if it's online based this bugs should be squashed.
Also I tried, the verify your files as that bug happened to me before and the game would not even start. And yes, PC can easily run it.

The backpack cover is not something you can fabricate, it becomes available on the wall in your private room.
