Supply request

I'm at a point in the game where my ability to fabricate my own stuff has been disabled, and the weapons I have on hand don't seem up to the task of taking on the boss I need to fight.

I've put in a request for 4 rocket launchers. I know this is a tall order, but if anyone sees it and could fill it, I would be very very grateful. Thank you.

Unfortunately supply requests show up in random people's games. As much as it would be nice to be able to see all supply requests (from Steam friends, etc.), we simply have to be lucky enough for it to show up in our game.

Good luck tho - also, unless you're at the final boss, you can always run.

Sometimes, the avatars of other players that help you with equipment in such battles. Look for white figures with a player name in them, they toss you over a bag and some weapons that helps you out in a pinch.

Aye, this will start occurring about 1 minute into the fight. Note: even non-lethal variants of weapons will harm catchers (esp if you use hematic rounds)

Sigh. I really hate this situation the game has put me in... I wonder if maybe I should go back to an old save and stock up my private locker, but, it'd be troublesome to go back so far...

Well, slim as the odds may be if someone does see the request, it'd really help me out...

I tried the boss fight once and the most it gave me was a grenade launcher, but the whale thing is so far away I just can't seem to get grenades on it. And my NL rifle with hematic rounds just like does nothing. I did put in a request for lethal rifles too just in case that does something though.

Well... ok, maybe it will try again and see how it goes. Though it also seems supply requests might be impossible to cancel... Hope I don't do this and end up killing the boss and then someone belatedly gives me launchers for nothing, eheheh >.<

Oh THAT fight. Hmm - do you see any postal boxes nearby? You could check those and try to find some extra gear in the "Claim Cargo" section. Same goes for distro centres.

Does having a strand contract with someone also increase the chance of having that person get your request order?

I believe it does, but... unless the option's well hidden, there doesn't seem to be a way to contract with friends (unless you're very very lucky and get them on the random list). I wish there was...

Because it's in the newbie zone, unfortunately, the shared lockers and post boxes pickings' are pretty slim. Ladders and PCS Lv1s and stuff like that...

Yeah, I think because I've already completed that chapter that I won't show up in the same "realm" as you (and vice versa). Unable to locate your name on my bridge link list. Likely you're with other players at/around the same progress level.

No luck, even after running around a bit to try to get it to refresh x.x But thanks again for trying. If only the online features could be a little less random x.x

About the white Sams that appear in the tar, apparently if you press the key that makes Sam call out he will call for help in that instance and make a white Sam spawn.
