But overall I drive the bike all over the place and it's doing just fine. Just avoid the rocks.
Vehicles are definitely more trouble than they're worth.
My first trip to Port Knot City, i took the road on the right, way easier to avoids BTs, and some parts of the slope are completely flat, making it easy to rush with the bike.
Then, by curiosity, I went by foot under the arch and felt that taking the right road was definitely the best solution since under the arch it's full of rocks and BTs in the middle of the road.
yet, when I came back, I had a nice smooth path, since then, i can take that road with the bike with no problem at all.
I don't get the instant halt. But I've turned off warnings for BT's so that could be the issue?
What does it matter? They still won't notice you while you're approaching with the vehicle.
Nah. I turned it off too and it still happens. I'm guessing it's a safety feature for the player not to get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ while driving.
-if you hold boost while mashing the jump button, there's a 50% chance you can drive straight up a vertical wall and 50% chance you'll fly backwards, spin in a circle, and then uncontrollably drive away from where you wanted to go for 5 seconds.
-Similarly for the motorbikes, except you want to be holding DOWN on the LEFT STICK at all times cuz you do a wheely and it lets you drive over stuff.
-If you PUSH IN the LEFT STICK on a motorbike while pressing nothing else you'll rev up to insane speeds in place. You can then press (and hold) RIGHT TRIGGER to drive, usually if you crash into anything after doing this you'll fly backwards like 30 feet into the air, it's hilarious.
-Driving in reverse gives you much better traction than driving forwards. If there's like an 80 degree slope with no rocks, throw it in reverse and drive backwards-- you can climb steeper hills going in reverse than with driving forwards + boosting. Going forwards is better for getting over rocks though.
