Half life quest not triggered

Greetings.

My problem is, i'm halfway 3rd chapter and my half life quest in first region is still not triggered so i can't get the hl skins, what do i do to trigger the mail?

It's just glasses and it isn't a quest it's an email. Go back through your emails and look for the Half Life symbol and to make it easy it's just to the right of the distro center. The wording is a bit dumb for it.

I told you, i didn't get the email ( quest ) it wasn't simply triggered, no lambda mail.

You probably didnt get the person that gives it to you to the required star level — normally at least 3 or 4 stars. Just google the DS half life mission guide.

also not getting it and my distro dude is 4.5 stars, im on chapter 9, ive read the 1st email, rested in private room and gotten the 2nd email

im at the exact spot and have looked around, it doesnt spawn

I'm having the same issue, but I have completed the game and I have read the email for the half life quest and the package wont spawn. I think it has something to do with starting chapter 3 (after the first higgs boss fight) before completing the first half life quest.

If this is the case I hope its patched and fixed, because I cant think of a reason for why it should be this way.

Same here, finished the game, stuck at the first HL quest, the cargo won't spawn for me either, I tried offline mode, I tried to destroy all the stuff people build around the spawn, zone in and out the map, nothing works so far, I recall seeing a lot of ppl having this issue so probably a bug yeah.

Based on the new game I tried on another PC to test, it seems these are timed and the cargo is generated when you receive the respective email. If you ignore said message until much later, the cargo will break down from timefall over time until it is ruined and breaks/dissappears. There are some other deliveries that aren’t the half life ones that are like this also, that reward you for keeping up with your inbox, which aren’t there if you don’t read them for too long.

As for ppl never getting the message at all, never had that happen.

Tested a couple times now though over my main game that had zero issues (did missions right when I got the emails) and two test saves. Have yet to be able to have an issue unless I went a chapter ahead of the email. I did notice if I waited until the very very end of the chapter to go so it (the second test) the cube was already at almost 95% container damage.

This could be solved by having the cubes spawn in a mailbox and not on the ground. However if I’m honest I like it better this way, as it rewards you for reading and keeping up with the game and story.

They should make it respawn, i mean sure I like the idea of reading emails and taking my time but I already completed the game on PS4 so I wanted to focus on the main story before doing all the extra this time around so it isnt normal to just loose the pre-ordered stuff forever because of it, hopefully they'll do something about it.

They should make it respawn, i mean sure I like the idea of reading emails and taking my time but I already completed the game on PS4 so I wanted to focus on the main story before doing all the extra this time around so it isnt normal to just loose the pre-ordered stuff forever because of it, hopefully they'll do something about it. :houndeye:

The game literally tells you flat out before you get on the boat you need to do any existing requests or you’ll leave them hanging and not complete them.

I can`t find a list with things to miss. Apparantly you can miss giving Peter Englert a 5 star rating when you ♥♥♥♥ up the deliveries. Other than that nothing in this game should be missable.

It would be more than stupid to make something as such a "special" thing missable. I moved on when I couldn`t find the cube when I got the mail....now it is nowhere to be seen (if it ever was there).
