I have RYZEN 7 1700 16 GB DDR4 3200MHZCL5 GTX 970 G1 GAMING DELLP2416D 24'' 2560X1440 60 HZ IPS Nice to see that! Probably it will be 48 or 49 fps on mine pc due to G1 GAMING overclock compared to normal gtx 970!

Sorry to bandwagon onto the topic, but could anyone who has tinkered with the game a bit say if 1080/60 possible with the 970 when enabling FidelityFX? I was looking at some performance videos and it looks like while the average frame rate is near 60, there are occasional harsh drops into the 40s, but none of the footage had FidelityFX stuff enabled, which I believe lowers the rendering resolution and tries to make up for it with some post-processing sharpening filter.

I have a gtx970 and 6700k with everything ultra and TAA and almost all the time 62-64 fps, I do not recommend putting FidelityFX since it sharply worsens but you raise 70-75 fps. sorry english i use translator

its literally the game that is unoptimized, also the minimum specs are 1060 not 970

unoptimized?! It's because your hardware is old. I am rocking 60fps at 4k dlss 2.0 with my 2070.

i have a i59600k and 1080 with 16gb ddr4
and same here i can ultra textures and some others but alot is medium high or low
ive also heard that console red dead is a mix of low and even lower
ive never seen it on console though so i cant compare the likeness

That why i havent play RDR2 yet due to all technical problems it has . i will play it later after they fix it.

970 is kind of old for this sorry to say, just get a cheap 1660 super, they have low power supply requierments and run fine and running it at 2k is not going to happen its meant for 1080p for optimal. you really ned beefier cpu for 2k and 4k

1060 + old i5 4690 runs all on max at 1440p with 60fps constant. it looks like it is better optimized for weak and old systems ;) ... so I am happy with this.

I call BS on that. even disregarding that pitiful cpu, a 1060 is no where near "60 fps constant" maxed out at 1440p.

Now you see why gtx 970 is my firsr graphics card i have kept for so long while all my previpus i kept for 2 or 3 years. Because it is the first that after so long time it continues running all games at ultra settings and high resolutions like 1440p while my previous cards(gtx 560 ti 8880 gt 8600 gt 7900gr 6800 gt e.t.c) couldnt do that and they needded to be replaced much sooner. Here we see something we have never seen before a 5+ years old graphics card being ablke to run current games at max settings 1440p even if not 60 fps in all of them.

im using a GTX1080ti and im only getting 9FPS dunno whats wrong with this game.

done a test and im only using

53% CPU
26% GPU
30% RAM
average fps 12

hope this game gets fixed soon
