Corrupted save data • Link
The game does not allow players to share their save data, displaying a "corrupted data" error.
Modify the game executable to bypass the save data checks[45]
Open <path-to-game>\ds.exe or <path-to-game>\DeathStranding.exe in a hex editor (e.g. HxD).
Search for 75 05 41 C6 46 3A 11 48 8D 8D as hex.
Replace it with EB 05 41 C6 46 3A 11 48 8D 8D to bypass the checks.
Save the changes.
Launch Death Stranding and load the game.
On the first launch, a "corrupted data" error may pop up: click "OK" and ignore it. This will only show once.
When the new save data has been loaded and saved, the original executable can be restored.
Cuz I want to Brought my save data from Epic to Steam... Thx in advance.
After manually moving the Epic saves (with the transfer folder in it which is created after you export the data from the game) to Steam Base and DC folders I was finally able to start my old saves in the Steam DC version and create a fresh save file over it.
Thanks bro!
It works for me. I had Epic Games DS Standart version and exported my save to DC version, but even then the exported save still corrupted.
Só I moved my DS saves to DSDC path and executed this modified ds.exe file.
Until then I got no errors. My items and structs remain on map (I not visited the new area yet) and my social list display "unknown" for DS Standart version players and they structs but show new players structs.
I haven't access to new structs yet but can see it on map and my archievements are not exported automatically (need to redo actions to trigger archievements tracking). e.g.: I must read a email to load my email archievement counter.
