Error Code
After building my new ROG rig I have been trying to play Death Stranding, but I keep getting an error code and then the game closes. I verified the integrity of my game files and it didn't fix the issue. The game runs fine on my other PC, which isn't even half as good, so I know it's definitely not a hardware issue. In case anybody asks, here are the specs of my new build, starting with the tower:

Asus ROG Strix Helios tower
Asus ROG Strix Z690-E Gaming Wifi
Intel Core i9 12900K
G Skill Trident Z 64GB DDR5 @ 6400Mhz
Asus ROG Strix RTX 3080Ti
Asus ROG Strix 80+ Gold 1000W PSU
Asus ROG Ryujin II 360 AIO

I'll post a link to the screenshot of the error code. The error looks like a game file data issue, within the build coding, but I could be wrong. Any ideas?

Try to disable Resizable BAR. I had one crash with exactly the same error code and it hasn't occurred since disabling it. Resizable BAR was causing some strange issues for me - like tanking FPS when there were a lot of cargo labels on the screen.

Interesting. I'll give that a try. Thank you!

It was already disabled, so I decided to take a chance and enable it, just to see if it works. I really want to get back to playing my game.

Same error happened to my friend. he was playing on laptop. his laptop wasnt plugged to power. so his laptop wasnt using the main graphic card and it was using onboard graphic card. after plugging it to power and changing power option to High porformance mode, game run without any error or problem.
if your pc have more than 1 graphic card, make sure that game is using the right and the main one. and make sure your power option is on High porformance.
I hope this solution works for you too :)

I checked and it's definitely not running on integrated graphics. I verified and my 3080 Ti is in full control. It could possibly be my DirectX, even though I have everything fully updated. I'm currently working with 505 Games to get the error corrected. I sent them the Dx Diagnostic Report. Now I play the waiting game.

Are any of your components overclocked? Some games are particularly sensitive (even if your system is otherwise stable). If that is the case, try to run the game with stock values (CPU, GPU, RAM).

The only thing I overclock is my RAM. I have XMP enabled and my current RAM is G Skill Trident Z DDR5 64GB 6400Mhz. I'm sure it would still perform great at default settings (4600Mhz) and I left my CPU and GPU alone. I had it activated on my older system as well and never had any issues. However, my older system is not near as beefed up as my new one. My older one is as follows:

ROG Strix Z390-E Gaming WiFi
Zotac RTX 3070
Intel i9 9900K
G Skill Trident Z 32GB DDR4 (OC @ 3600Mhz)

I discovered the issue. After exhausting all troubleshooting steps I went ahead and ran a Memory Diagnostic test and found that my RAM was the culprit. I tested them and found the faulty one. I pulled that one, and it's partner and am now running 2 sticks, in dual channel mode. Yeah, I have half the RAM but it's still enough to run my system properly. I am now able to play games with no crashes, and am not receiving blue screens of death. I am now waiting to hear back from Newegg, about the possibility of getting the faulty RAM exchanged... it has been over 30 days, so wish me luck that they allow it.
