yeah this is why i installed the director's cut separately, had a feeling this would happen

however, i think as long as we purchased the original, we should still be able to redownload/reinstall this edition. i'll update when i'm sure of that

The game being pulled from sale does not mean the original will be removed from your library.

Unless there is some legal reason for a game to be pulled, such as malware or illegal content, valve never removes games from your library just because they're no longer for sale.

Yes because we're on PC here not console, we are not supposed to pay for the ability to change from medium to high graphics.
