Hilariously bad voice acting in the Junk/fixer mission

How did this happen? It's a proper ps1 era voice acting - took me right out of the game. Don't get me wrong the game is great but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that was bad.

Yeah, this Kojima guy on his own is maybe a 7/10, too many small things off in the game. He needs to go back to Konami to get other input and reach 10/10 MGS level again.

Makes no sense that anyone would have a Japanese (or French for that matter) accent as the game clearly states, there is no travel between nations and especially not airplanes.

don't diss CV actresses. so what if if she has no background. Hideo Kojima gave the Green light to use her. Watch later on her Reputation will grow and you fakers just like most I know will clap, fall for tears, RIP, and all that junk cause you found out that the person became a celeb. Even today your CV actors and actresses are in their 40-50+ Professionals. Like I always said GenX started it all and gave you the boost. So far I have not seen anything surpassing GenX Pros.

Only seeing CV of today signing up for screaming Gokus.

What are you on about. It's totally irrelevant what becomes of her in the future. Only thing that matters is whether the actors are a good fit at the moment of being casted, and Mala Morgan just wasn't. She's an Instagram model and didn't get casted on the merit of her acting skills.

This casting and many other small things is what prevents the game from being very good. I am begging Kojima to go back to Konami to receive other input for his decisions. If DS had received more decision making input by other people and was not left with decisions by Kojima alone, we would be looking at a true gem.

NOT ONLY THAT, her own mother does not have any sort of accent. Unlike The Elder who is very old so he obviously was around before the beginning of teh stranding so he at least was able to take an airplane to travel.

The chiral artist is YOUNG, too young to have even been alive prior to the stranding. Her own mother has a very clear, distinct American accent with a broad, "Californian" dialect.

The Chiral Artist's Mother was her adopted mother. No mention of how old she was when adopted or what happened to her parents that I know of.

although, lieutenantkirtar does make me think, even if she was born after the stranding, if she learned english from people who don't have english as their first language, she'd get their accent, since post-stranding, the world was very quite isolated.

It's actually explained in a mail shortly after but it's a really strange decision. If I were Kojima I would've had her speak Japanese and had the other characters translate for her or just subtitle it and handwave it away with some Bridges tech that autotranslates for Sam.
