Minimize the background noise and load - fine tune as much as you can.
Could be RAM/resource load/Network traffic.
Death Stranding didn't resource hog at all when I turned on DLSS (i think its called?) - you could check that.... GPU Temp dropped quite a bit - still looked fantastic.
If the game isn't flickering - the software your using to capture is the problem sadly. I have seen reports of Death Stranding causing issues with OTHER games in terms of GPU - but its usually resolved with a reboot.
I stream on Discord - so can't say this is a sure fire fix for you - nor did I have any issues.
Even a virus scanner/firewall could cause noise/issues.
You on wireless? Go wired. You'd be surprised how much that cleans up the issue.
Try a clean reboot and try again - sometimes it helps mitigate it.
Any of these may not work - but its what I can think of off hand.
After messing around with settings again today, both in game and on OBS, I think what fixed it was turning on the "limit capture framerate" option in the game capture properties and also having it on "capture specific window" instead of "capture any fullscreen application".
No more back screen flickering so far but I need to keep testing it to be 100% sure.
Thanks again!
Should have thought of that :)
The FPS Settings in this game are a little....different that what you'd expect.
Would make sense. Nice catch.
