Not really sure what game you are playing but I've had to go to about 20 places where BT's spawn all the time and that was just 1/2 way through the game. Maybe a better question is .. what happens if you drop the body in an area that never rains and never has BT's in the first place.
He's saying living NPCs usually avoid BT zones
For example between junk dealer prepper and the chiral artist's place can be full of BTs but only when it is raining. When it is not raining, there are porters visiting the chiral artist's place.
I'm sure they'll respawn at some point (story progress, side missions, etc.) but for now,
i'm enjoying the silence.
the reason why i say if you really want to do it for experiment's sake you need a secluded location is because BTs can actually kill NPCs, which triggers voidouts
NPCs naturally avoid pre-existing zones, but if you wipe out a MULE camp and neglect to move the bodies, as soon as the camp respawns those NPCs will trigger voidouts
however, if you dump the bodies on top of a mountain or something those new BTs will happily chill there for all eternity
in short, you can create new BT zones by willingly violating common-sense, but it isn't permanent in the sense that if you kill all those BTs you created they won't respawn there
dumping it in an existing BT zone is thus mostly 'safe', but i've no idea what happens if that zone is made devoid of already-extant BTs, i.e. by killing the catcher
maybe you'll end up with nothing but that one BT?
