Breaking is also very dependent on how much you and your vehicle is carrying, and the incline if you're on one.
idk if this is true, I don't remember them saying anything about driving going to be changed

OP, trucks have the bounce feature, use it.
Interesting.. I've been using Tier 3 long range truck for the battery distance.
My biggest gripe also seems to be stemming from the fact that the rocks sometimes aren't real, and the ones that are real are hit and miss with the hitboxes, so I often think "I can make this, easy", only to get caught on the edge of a hitbox and then stopped dead in my tracks/bounced backwards slightly as though I'm lagging (this second one is the most frustrating, cause as mentioned earlier, trying to stop is just a pain in the A*se, holding S/backwards should slow me down faster than spam-tapping, I'm not on a trigger) and if you're moving at a decent speed, it'll ram you into the rock like 5 more times as though you're trying to make sweet sweet intercourse with a pile of rubble.
Long range trucks are good but you sacrifice storage space for the additional batteries. If you can make some road sections your batteries don't deplete while on roads in the network so you can cut your recharge worries in half just by using roads through difficult terrain which is where a lot of battery life is wasted. As for 'bounce', it's very handy. It's similar to the trikes ability to wheel stand over obstacles.
bikes have a trick to them though, whereby popping a wheelie as you slam on the brakes will bring them to a near-instant halt without breaking traction, which (with a bit of finesse) can be used to manuever in extremely tight spaces
i don't think that's how they're meant to work though
that isn't limited to the defensive truck, all trucks have access to it
no, they don't
long-range trucks can hold the exact same amount of cargo as the other types can
I edited and you have my apologies OP. Truth is I just like the defensive truck.
Yeah I knew about the lil bunny hop.
It doesn't really help when the hitboxes on the rocks are insanely inaccurate lol
