Director's Cut upgrade

Saw that if you owned the PS4 version, you can upgrade to the Director's Cut for only $10
Went to the PS4 store to check, but it still says it's $60 (deluxe) and $50 (standard director's cut)
Anyone know when the $10 upgrade choice will be out?

The upgrade is only going to be for the PS5 not the PS4. The upgraded version won't be playable on the PS4. So it'll likely only be available in the PS5 store so as to avoid people purchasing it when they can't play it.

Well, you quoted the sentence yourself, it says nothing about the PS4.

There are no PS4 logos on the director's cuts. Also I'm on PSN store now on my PS4 and it's not listed either so not sure where you are seeing that.

It has not been confirmed one way or another yet, we'll see what decision they make. Ghost of Tsushima on the other hand announced a week prior theirs for both consoles, although have not confirmed a PC release for either of them as of yet.

It's all for the PS5 sales though, I mean look at the exclusive out now... 3 major titles? Demon's Souls, Ratchet and Clank just last month and Spider-Man I guess. The rest that were showcased during Sony's reveal stream will not be out for a while, some have even been delayed (God of War and Gran Turismo 7 come to mind). It's anyone's guess what they will do for now.

If you already own the PS4 version of Death Stranding, you can get the PS5 Death Stranding Director’s Cut Digital Deluxe Edition Upgrade for only [$10, €10]. This option will be available at launch.
