Report a translation problem
In settings you can set it so that you can just click the mouse buttons once to hold cargo or by default, you can hold the buttons.
I prefer holding the button because it makes me feel a modicum of the struggle Sam is feeling.
If the target (Mule or otherwise) is nearby, it shouldn't make too much of a difference. But if there's some distance between you and the foe, releasing the item held in Sam's right hand while that arm is is swinging will make it more likely that the projectile reaches your target. :-)
