♥♥♥♥. I just completed and uninstalled the game.... :( Why didn't I think about doing that once in 89h!! ... what's wrong with me!?
It is an expensive AAA title that does let you play as a "hero", but does not want you to feel satisfied because you overpower NPCs or other players, but because you help NPCs or other players. Instead of rewarding you for destroying enemies, the game wants you to preserve, rebuild and connect.
Also, imho the walking physics are novel and great, I have never seen anything like it.
Big ooft. Imagine thinking DOOM Eternal is innovative but Death Stranding isn't lmfao idiot
Erm, I was posting in two forum threads when I wrote this and mixed this one up lol, my bad :p
Looking at your games, you tend to play primarily FPS. Not judging, just a fact.
FPS are quick with constant stimulation. You shoot, kill, receive your stimuli, and repeat that for hours at end.
Death Stranding is completely opposite to what you are used to. It is slow, casual, and rewards you for assisting other players with your structure. It is heavily story driven, where your FPS are not (let's be real).
It just doesn't fit you. Your brain requires the stimuli that you are used to and sadly Death Stranding won't bring you that.
