This game just made me cry 😥
Minor spoilers for the junk dealer part ahead. When you're carrying the Chiral Artist to the Junk Dealer and Give Up by Low Roar plays, that part hit me hard for some reason. The music in this game makes everything 100x more emotional and it's so good.
And tbh I rarely ever cry these days but damn. Anyone else have moments the game made you emotional? I bet there will be more for me especially when more of Cliffs story is revealed. It feels like it's building up to something big.

The game made me cry when I learned that you should never follow the instruction to play this game, since almost every item in this game has alternative, undescribed usages in the early game.

That emotional resonance from the music can be strong. For better or worse, that's why Sam has no MP3 player.

Like? Can't think of anything they didn't explain
Bola gun can restrain BT for example? Level 1 didn't have that ability, level 2 are and explained when you gained the upgrade

Nah screw the junk dealer story, it's a huge troll

Carefully carry the hourglass to chiral artist, and she smashed the damn thing when we delivered her to junk dealer
Don't let me talk about their marriage

Elder have better story than those couple, and I regret neglecting for a while

You can pee on BTs to defeat/stall them.
You can pick up material cargo from MULEs and use that as melee or flying weapon.
You can use sandalweed to slience your footstep in BT area.
You can use firearm with sliencer to shoot on ground with regular ammo to distract multiple BTs and blow them up with a single generade.

Hold 2 or 4? (or ^ on controller) to bring up quick menu > Select sandalweed, you can also quick equip exo-skeleton and boots this way too

Come on man, outside that last example, all the other things ARE explained in game. EVERYTHING is explained in game. It is not the game's fault people choose NOT TO READ the information the game painstakingly lays out for them. :coolgomo:

No, they haven't described it. not directly. Beside, you admit it is not "everything" in your first sentence.

The quick info in weapon/tool wheel and tutorial, said only peeing for mushrooms and relief, didn't mention about repelling BTs in the tutorial.

In the early game, the tutorial didn't tell people you can swing a cargo container as a hammer until you reach the nuke disposing episode.

Sandalweed, in the tutorial it describes only as a backup footwear with little noise in the quick info, rather than a useful tool.

Unless you read game tips beforehand or it is your second playthrough, most of players won't come up those idea at the first glance during the first time BT encounter during the tutorial, which made me crying on what the hell I did during the early game.
