finding my own lost cargo
I had a mission to deliver 34 of an item. I got 33 of them delivered but could not recall losing the last one so have no idea where to look for it. It must have been dropped.

From a watchtower I could scan for it if it is still laying on the ground, but that could take quite a while.

I know that on the map I can look into the shared contents of PO boxes, so can I expect to come across my lost item if someone has turned it in? Since this would mean looking at the contents of a whole lot of places, is there any shortcut to finding where my lost item is (assuming it has been turned in)?

If you've gotten too far away from the missing piece, it will have become eligible for delivery by others and eventually should end up in the share locker of the intended destination. The order itself will not be completed by picking it up though. You would have gotten something like a C or B rating on the partial delivery. If you look in your cufflinks "Orders" menu, you'll find the order is no longer open.

If it is still open, then the missing cargo is still available for you to pick up somewhere and will show on your map with flashing red circle around it and labeled "Cargo for Delivery".

If someone has found your lost cargo and placed in a share locker somewhere, that location will show an exclamation mark icon above it on your map so you can find it easily.

Many thanks.

I have an order lacking one item and it is being held open with no option for starting the mission over again. The timer on the mission has long since timed out. Since I don't see the red circle on the map, this tells me someone grabbed it and it should be in a share locker somewhere...so I need to look for an exclamation mark. I'm on it. This will be a big help from now on. The devil, if not a BT, is in the details.

Hmmm. sounds more like a glitch to me. Do have the ability to cancel the order rather than redeploy? If so, I'd cancel and try it again.

Edit: You could also try going to the destination and just complete the order as a partial delivery, this should remove it from the "Open Orders" and just wait awhile and the order will become available again ( 1-4 hours).
