Do people still repair roads?
Im currently in the area of lake knot city - timefall farm, and I rebuild a good quarter of the road on my own... that gave me a ton of likes so I imagine people still play?
now, over a week later, not even one piece road has been completed since the. I cant imagine its intended for you to repair the entire road yourself since it starts to cost 4000+ metals which are really difficult to gather....

it's tied to story progress, i.e. the game won't allow other players to build more than a certain amount of the network for you according to how far you've gotten

i spent about 80 hours in chapter six delivering lost cargo and completing premium deliveries with absolutely zero progress made by other players in that time
the very moment i hit chapter eight there was a massive surge in delivered materiel

technically there's nothing stopping you from building the entire network yourself as soon as you can reach the autopavers under your own power, but trying to do so too early (or without connecting the paver to the network) will mean you'll be doing all of the heavy lifting yourself

I had to build every mile of mine by myself, from Lake Knot to South Knot to Mountain Knot. :dsfist: :commandervideo:

Most of my roads got repaired by other people, so, yeah.

I've participated in rebuilding some and not others. I have received notifications that those I have helped with have been completed by other but sometimes I have to do the whole job myself.

think is the game want you have to build all the road by yourself 1st even have online players in your bridge link in your list. But If have many active players in your list, less effort to collect metals & ceramics to build the road. If you play offline mode all the way, then all part of the road's material contribution are start from zero

Biggest thing to avoid doing is giving materials to any road in an area you haven't enabled the chiral network for yet.

If you put stuff in before the network is up, you have to do ALL of it yourself on those segments. If you wait, you get a bunch from other people once the network is going.
I had to build the road by myself.
Now I have yet to find a segment of the road where I can add materials to repair since I started playing again, so it seems people are really into repairing roads.

Yeah... I play online and most if not all of my roads and structures have been a do it myself type of thing. I can just imagine that most people are hoarding resources, if anything. Either that or they don't play anymore.

Perhaps its a game related thing, I noticed that roads which I started to repair got a lot more materials, one even finished now.

I find that I'm generally the one doing the bulk of the building, but even still I usually see a good portion of the materials required have already been deposited at the autopavers by others before me.

are the pavers on the network? If they're not you have to do it yourself

a good portion sadly not here, I deliver around 50-66% metal, at least 50% ceramics and 70-80% of chrystals

This here.

When I first played on PS4, been a while, but I think I was building roads before getting an area into the UCA, so I did a lot of hard work myself; I think one or two road sections appeared from others. Second playthrough on PC, better understanding of the delivery system, I got areas to join the UCA much faster and there was usually around 50% materials already in the pavers after joining UCA.
