How to equip a PCCin order to build something on OC

I definitely have a PCC in my inventory, but I cannot work out how to use it to build something.

If I hit the 1 key, I get all my equipment showing (ladders and so on) but not the PCC.

What key gets me the PCC and how to I get to it?

When you press 1 scroll your mouse wheel. Sometimes you carry more cargo than what fits on the screen at once. So you could have a few screens to scroll through.

You press 1 first then if you see a PCC you equip it.

If you don’t see one because you have too much stuff scroll down until you can select it

Once it is selected, you can choose what you build with 2

How do I equip it, though? That's what I can;t understand.

I have one n my inventory, I press on it, and it just asks me about moving it to my back, or my hand, or one of the other positions.

So I guess I really have no idea what to do here. I have no idea what the command is to equip the PCC once I locate it in my inventory.

you dont do it from the cargo screen, you hold 1 while playing, then find the PCC there, you may have to use the scroll wheel to find it, after that you press 2 to select what you're going to build with the PCC.

Go out into the overworld, where you can walk around and stuff. Not going to cufflinks or cargo, nothing. Just standing and walking Sam. Hold 1. Then drag your mouse around onto one of the sections of usable items, such as your ladders, climbing anchors, and grenades. PCC is included here. You might have multiple tabs/pages of usable items, which the game will tell you in the bottom right corner while holding down 1. Once you've located your PCC in this menu (If you don't have one, go fabricate a few in any bases terminal) you can simply hover your mouse over it and it'll tell you what you can do with this item. Most of the time, it's simply left mouse button to equip, and E to drop, but sometimes with Decoy Cargo you need to choose which hand you equip it to (because they act like actual cargo)
Also, in case it isn't clear, after you have the PCC equipped you still have to hold down 2 in order to select what you want to build. It will default to Postboxes, and near the start you might only have access to postboxes.

TL;DR Be in the overworld, no menus, hold down 1, find PCC and left click on it in the item wheel.
