"escape the war zone" - what has happened to my game :-(

A walking stealthy game has suddenly become a gun fight, with the worst weapons system I've ever used. And walking around a cramped environment in 3rd person with a huge backpack on means that half the time I can't see what's going on. I've tried several times, and really can't be bothered to try again.
I can't wait for this level to end so that I can get back to the real game - I wonder why they decided that this was a good idea?
Any tips for getting past it?

Aim better. It's not a hard sequence on any difficulty.

get the blood bags.
eat the cryptobytes.
find the good weapons.
aim for head-shots.

be aggressive, cut across the top to flank him, hermetic grenades + lethal rounds = win?

Make use of the camera change button, right stick click. It helps you see around corners, or even shoot while half your body is behind cover.

Everything else has already been mentioned. Use some hermetic grenades then shoot through the cloud with normal bullets. Helps preserve your blood.

yeah this boss fight made me quit the game entirely lol. I lost all interest and motivation in this game because of this boss fight.

haven't turned the game on in a month.

just lower the difficulty for the area guys, even on very hard, if you come loaded and follow tips it should be ok.

i just put easy to get past it and then changed it back when i left the warzone.

I finished in hard, you can just use objects as cover to reload or get back some blood.

If you need blood quickly use the cryptobiotes. Transfusion will start once you don’t take damage for a while.

You will take damage when you shoot, but you can just plan your retreat when you need to find a place to hide

I'd continue on and not let that ruin it for you, it's so small of a section. I had a bit of the same feeling when I hit the boss on very hard.

It’s obvious that he is telling you to lower the difficulty so you can move on to the next zone faster.

Maybe you didn’t get it ?
