No way to turn off music without turning off sound completely?

Surely I am missing something. I am not enjoying some of the songs, and do not care to hear them. How can I turn the music off (mainly the music with lyrics?

Unbelievable. A refund or a trade I will seek. That is the stupidest design decision I have ever seen. Last game of his I buy WOW.

considering the low amount of music there is in the game, I think you might reconsider that. You need to know, each track you ear in the game you ear them only once, they are never played twice (excepted maybe the very first one you also hear in the prologue cutscene). But I do agree, no separate sliders for sounds is annoying.

Each song has a specifc meaning for the scene it plays over.
Its like saying " why cant i turn off the music in this movie".
It part of the narrative. Even if you dont enjoy a song for the music itself ,it has a point.

And for that reason you cant turn off music in this game.

I came to the forums just to see if there is a way to turn off the music. It's a terrible design choice. It doesn't mean the game is bad, or that people enjoying the game need to ride in to defend it's honor. It's not a good idea and it's going to bother a lot of people. Off the top of my head I can't think of one game I own that has the music at full volume. Most of them have it off completely.

Having the music locked in is like something you would expect to see on a teenagers youtube channel, not from a AAA game.

I am encouraged to see there isn't a lot of this, and the songs never repeat so at least there is that.

They seem to dictate how and when you listen to their dreary music and when and how you can quit the game for that matter. I guess in their little minds this is art.

Tbh its kinda pretentious, but its not that bad. I honestly thought it would be far more annoying when I posted this but there arent that many songs and they dont repeat. Dumb design choice but I am happy with my purchase.
