DEATH STRANDING

DEATH STRANDING

Statistiche:
Is 2 hours enough to get a good idea of the game??
^^^

I wanna buy but Horizon Zero and Wasteland 3 are coming out. Just a question for those that know the game is two hour trial enough??

I would say 'no' as there's a rather long 'intro area' that's not representative of the main part of the game.

I'd check out some spoilerless reviews online if I were you.
Not really no. First 2 hours are like 90% cutscenes and 10% gameplay.
I would say after about 10 hours or so you have a good grasp on the gameplay loop but the game still adds new gadgets and stuff all the time.
Things get much more interesting in later chapters. The first and second are story heavy and the gameplay itself is boring and repetetive until you start to unlock things later on. 2 hours is nowhere near enough time to reach that point.

You're better off using the 2 hours to see how well your PC runs it, etc... If you find the story interesting it'll help get you through the early boring stages of the game. It does get better.
No. You haven't unlocked 90% of your tools or game mechanics.

Not at all. To me, the first 5 hours or so were a drag. I really hated the game. A friend kept telling me it will get better, so i kept on playing. Now i am 20 hours in and love it.
Not even close.

In my case it's 6 hours where the game pretended to be a walking simulator. Then I unlocked the bke. And then it became bike simulator only to end as zip simulator.

While I have to agree that 2 initial hours can't fairly present the game, I'm pretty sure you'll love the game regardless of your taste - if you don't skip the story for sakes of fastrunning.

Wasteland 3
It's coop/mmo whatever. Death Stranding is singleplayer.
Easy choice, depending on what you currently need.
Nope, there's a lot of stuff past the 2 hour mark that sort of "changes" the way you do stuff. Watch an unbiased review and overview on youtube to get some more insight on it.

2hr ? Unlikely. The attack of _long_ cutscenes at the start of the game will take most of that.
I'm 92 hours in and I'm still being introduced to new mechanics and concepts
No.If your choice is between Death Stranding and Horizon Zero Dawn then Horizon is by far the better game. I played through Horizon 3 times on the ps4. I just finished Death Stranding and I will never touch it again. I'm going to buy Horizon again just to play it without having to use a controller.
Somewhere around 10 hours is a solid target. You unlock a significant variety of new materials, tactics, weapons, vehicles, constructs, etc. as you progress. I would say the intro only shows, perhaps, 15-20% of the overall content. I promise, the game opens up in a tremendous way. However, keep in mind you still are delivering packages the entire time as the core gameplay. Despite that, the story and the world should compel you to continue at this point. It truly is a polarizing game up until then, but I believe just about everyone can enjoy this game once they make it past the somewhat stale intro area.
Not really, unfortunately. This game is a slow burn, and while it starts good it really takes around 6-10 hours to get really good
Not really the first two hours are pretty much just cut scenes....
