Bike = superman mode, am I only one who think vehicles make this game super casual?
I mean there's almost no penalty what I doing with vehicles, in compare how game punishes when I walking, but any vehicle is just like "easy mode", such arcade physics just killing the whole idea of this game.

Arcade physics? Physics are borked when driving, bike flies if you mash space, etc. I avoid vehicles when I don't drive on the road, but ofcourse they're OP on roads, otherwise it's so bad to control it's not even worth it. lol And once you get a certain skeleton you literally cannot fall or trip, unless you run out of battery, which is pretty hard. So it might only feel like its super OP but in reality they're useless apart from roads and super flat ground.

The game is not supposed to be hard

Bike physics make no sense. Supposedly chiralium spikes cause electronics to briefly fail... Which somehow causes the trike's wheels to fuse to the axles so they can't spin, causes the ground to fuse to the wheels so they can't skid, and causes whats-his-face to lose all momentum so he doesn't fly over the handlebars and smash his face on a rock.

Not to mention this all repeats when you bump into a BT when driving at full gallop and you are instantly tar-pit'ed, which also delays you getting off of the trike long enough to get fully grabbed, all button presses ignored so you are fully dragged off of your feet, and off you go to the boss-monster fight.

Really, vehicles are only useful once you've got roads to drive on, and the entire first area just doesn't have them, making the trikes a complete waste of time.

beyond that, any cargo marked with an impact weakness label (distinct from the generic 'fragile' label) is liable to get completely destroyed if you try to drive it over anything but smooth ground

trikes have their uses, and you can take them almost anywhere BT-free if you exercise a little finesse, but there are plenty of deliveries they aren't suited for, or are actively detrimental to

There's an actual mechanic to escape BTs on a bike, but it takes some practice to pull off, nonetheless it doesn't make them any more useful, since every rock stops it in place, no matter the speed you were going at.

bike will be destroyed permanently.. and only lasts very few minutes during traveling and has very low durability... it will just explode and is lost forever. So . No.

With some practice you can also avoid the stones by doing a wheelie over them.

With no practice you'll run faster by just going on foot with a proper skeleton on. Especially on uneven ground, where for some reason bike turns into an AI controller monster that has its own will and turns on its own, making it more of a nuisance than actual help.

but true is..I can travel through VV or enemies unnoticed.. so yea.. its easy than delivering quests as bike can travel every mountaun, I deliver everything on bike now

Trucks are the only way to complete some of the 'Premium' deliveries of like 2000kg cargo in under 10 minutes. I basically use the truck for everything now.

you can also ford water faster by doing it, but i still wouldn't chance impact-fragile deliveries on a trike

what also doesn't help is that it's ambiguous exactly what level of impact affects cargo, including human cargo; it's generally accepted that any impact that makes sam grunt loudly will result in damage to the trike, but i don't know if there's a damage threshold beyond which damage will bleedthrough to cargo or...

generically fragile cargo, eh, but impact-weak premium deliveries on a trike aren't in my cards

I wouldn't be able to pull off a lot of the deliveries without a bike. Some loads are so heavy I walk super slow. A bike helps a ton.

Easier to prevent cargo damage walking.

Smash a bike up mountains or over rocks, see if you can keep the 1-3% damage off still.

I only had a problem once. Repositioning my cargo to split it between the trike load and my back fixed it so i could traverse without causing damage.

FR? Now I kinda regret ditching it in the mountains.
