Changing ladder length.

Is there anyway to change the length of a ladder?

Only two kinds of ladder in this game (normal and chiral custom) and both are 10 meter length.
Unless they add some other ladder in this game (as update etc.), nothing can be done.

Negative - they're stuck at 10m unfortunately :(

Nope but you can get off a ladder early by pressing the jump button. Useful if half the ladder is up in the air.

Off all the intricacies that Kojima put into this game and its design, the absence of this baffles me.
