Anyone else having issues with 1060 3Gb?

Every time y launch the game this message appears and restarts my graphic settings. I don´t understand why that is necessary.

My pc: Ryzen 7 2700x, GTX 1060 3Gb, 16 Gb 3000 Mhz. Windows 10 up to date. Nvidia drivers installed and reinstalled, Directx 12 installed and updated I guess...

I can play the game in default settings in ~60 Fps but eventually it will crash and give me this error message:

Is Kojima Productions aware of this? Are they working to solve it? This is the first and the last time I pre-order a game hahaha. Is not worth the pain. I'm contemplating the idea to refound it in Steam with 3,5 hrs, hope it's still possible. I'm afraid now to launch it again and lose the oportunity to refound it and save my ass. I feel this is not fair.

PLEASE SOMEBODY CALL SOMEONE AND FIX IT!

Hello there. I don't that this is a problem, more like message.
So, yeah, it's strange that settings restarts, but in the config file they are storing.
I had that message too, and sadly, too frequently, bad suddenly it stops show up.
Your PC is able to run the game smoothly, so, don't even worry.
There's a lot of problems that, I hope, will be solved in a few days.

I have a problem with FPS and I have a 1060 3g. My game jumps around from 16-40 FPS and I generally get like 20 in cutscenes which also usually crash my entire PC. Ive never had a game crash my computer before.

3gb VRAM is the absolute minimum required. Crashing might be related to your vram, but it is hard to say for sure. Try running the game with lower settings while making sure to turn off every app that you don't need.

For 1080p resolution highest setting needs 4 GB video memory, default and medium need 3.7 GB video memory and low setting needs 2.5 GB video memory.
Your card doesnt have enough for default/medium settings and as it runs out of memory you will get those big fps drops.
With this card put your settings to low.

1060 6GB here.... no problem at all, plays like everything on max max with 1440p with zero crashes

The 3 GB version of GTX 1060 was rubbish and nowhere as good as 6 GB version, it has weaker performance and 3 GB of VRAM is simply not enough for modern games.

I have a similar problem with my notebook (GTX 1060 3gb), the game runs smooth so far but it crashes after 30 to 60 minutes, the error message said its an DX12 error and its may a contlict between the GTX card and the intel grapic onboard card, i did not find a fix yet... :/
