Episode 3 freeze
Anyone have this? After going to port knot city and getting to the end of the chapter. I go to the next objective. It loads the cutscene, then says "episode 3".....then it just sits at 0%. Can't seem to get it to load

Ha. Pulled the classic I.T. move. Rebooted my comp. Fixed it :)

Give it a try

I've had it happen 3 times so far, they've all been after cutscenes. Every time I've just force closed the game and it will load past it.

Same

Yeah i had to reboot completely. I tried 3 times to close out and get back in and it did the same thing each time. At least its working again!

Yeah, i have it. Opened task manager and set high priority on ds.exe process. Works for me

Alrighty, here's what I've done so far, none of these have worked.

1. Saved in front of the loading zone for cinematic - Didn't work
2. Gave Ol' Sammy a shower (thought it had something to do with the black ooze not wanting to load properly, a problem I previously had and that fixed it last time.) - Also negative
3. Validated files - Nope
4-a. Shut down and turned on computer (Jebbry's reccomendation) - No way.
4-b. Tried the thing RIVET reccomended (The high priority on ds.exe thing) - Also a no
5. Tried running as administrator (that usually works for other games) - Haha, no.
6. Tried doin' an Alt-f4 a couple of times - Not working

Only thing I haven't tried (and I'd really rather not do) is uninstall. And possibly back tracking a ways and then walking back, but that'd just take a lot of time and I also don't wanna do that.

Any other ideas?

Whoops, forgot to mention I also got an error to come up one of the times I alt-f4'd but it doesn't always show up...

After a few reboots, I tried running the cut scene without a motorcycle, just on foot and the download started.:Ocelot:

I cut off my internet and change language. Then it works. I don't know which one really worked, but you can try both.

Alright lads, I think I found a fix. I turned off auto-login in game settings and then went to title screen and into game. After that the loading screen loaded. Just turn auto-login back on after loading into chapter 3. let me know if this works for you guys as well!

The solution for me was, put the ds.exe in high priority, when entering the game go to Options> Game settings> and remove connectivity from the automatics, right after continue the game and go to episode 3, then call again if prefer automatic connectivity

Please comment if it worked for you, and good luck

And thx @ReacesPieces
