FPS limit at 60?
Why does there seem to be a frame limit at 60?

Nvidia clearly advertising the game with FPS's in the hundreds.

how can you be clueless enough to think the game is capped at 60fps when right there in the damn settings is even a 240 FPS limiter?

It doesnt limit to 60... I just had the game running at 100fps in 4k

I don't have the game, but traditionally Japanese made games had this flaw for much longer than games from the rest of the world. I almost always check the forums now to make sure there is no frame rate cap before buying a game.

Trust me, this is not a "traditionally made Japanese game". Time for this bs is long gone, because the modern consoles do not have a fixed resolution and fixed framerate. Asian developers had to update their programming methods - you can no longer derive time from the framerate.

game has a 240 fps cap only the cutscenes run at 60......

Hopefully there is a way to uncap cut scenes. Very jarring going from 144 fps to 60 fps.

FYI from my understanding the Vsync in this game is triple buffer, so it shouldn't lock your FPS to anything lower than your monitor's Hz. It should only have a minor affect on the fps, maybe 1 or 2, and some input latency, which with this game shouldn't be an issue in the slightest.
