they're only a simple color difference if like the console versions, and eventually you can change the colors of those things int he private rooms anyways so you just lose the gold is all. I used red myself on ps4 anyways. there turned out to be no extra stats or boosts (and that's a good thing) to the gameplay from those things.
any cut content is bad, don't get me wrong, this is just the least impacting scenario when it's not only just a cosmetic difference it's something as simple as color options. I still hate the idea, but, it's the lesser evil over things that affect gameplay or remove interactive content like missions or characters or useful items. on pc though, more than likely, you could just edit the save file or use something like CE to get it anyways. or even replace files for normal items to whatever you like, seen people do that in other games. like the resident evil games.
I was talking more about the wallpapers.
oh, stuff outside the game I don't even care about to be honest. and you're using a computer. you could probably right-click save those from any they display on their webpage or something I bet. Those are the stuff I never mind, since they don't affect the game experiences. I was glad squenix often started giving stuff outside the games, rather than cutting stuff out from within them for prerelease sales.

How do I access the pre-purchase HD Wallpapers?
Right click on the game “DEATH STRANDING” in your Steam library and select “manage->Browse local files” from the context menu. Windows explorer will open showing the game files. There you can find the folder “wallpapers” that contains all the wallpapers.
How do I access the DEATH STRANDING Original Score Expanded Edition digital soundtrack?
The soundtrack will appear on your Steam library as “DEATH STRANDING Soundtrack Expanded Edition”. After selecting it the built-in Steam music player will open.
How do I access the “Selections From ‘The Art of DEATH STRANDING’” Digital Book (by Titan Books)?
Right click on the game “DEATH STRANDING” in your Steam library and select “manage->Browse local files” from the context menu. Windows explorer will open showing the game files. There you can find the folder “artbook” that contains the Art Book in .pdf file format.
The Soundtrack was pretty damn good though. I will be happy now to be able to have it on my other devices, from a PS4 it is a pain to get from it. Similar to the FF7 Remake music you couldn't put on your phone etc.
Sorry but when i follow your steps to the browse local file, the folder is empty. So I'm guessing i would have to wait for the game to be unlocked before getting the wallpapers and etc.
Yep, as I stated on the first line :)
